Materials Take Off

Storage Tank Manufacturing Detail Engineering.

Seismic Analysis

We perform the seismic analysis considering the seismic standards established in the country where the tank will be installed, thus guaranteeing compliance with local regulations. Our methodology includes the evaluation of region-specific geological and seismic factors, allowing us to tailor the tank design to the particular ground conditions.

Calculations

We perform complete tank calculations, considering the standards required for the design (API 650, AWWA, etc.). In the calculation report, a detailed analysis of the static and dynamic loads (earthquake and wind) is carried out, in addition to evaluating the internal and external pressure that the tank must withstand. We also determine the venting requirements, both operating and emergency, to ensure the correct functionality of the tanks. To carry out these analyses, we use spreadsheets and specialized programs for tanks calculation, which allows us to guarantee accuracy and reliability in all our results.

Manufacturing Details

We develop the detail drawings for the manufacture of all parts and assemblies that are manufactured in the workshop, as well as the detail drawings for field assembly, ensuring that all elements can be installed efficiently and effectively.

Bottom Heaters Coils

The design of bottom heaters coils includes the calculation and sizing of then, in order to guarantee the specifications and the correct operation of the heater. Additionally, we make the detail drawings for the prefabrication in the workshop and assembly on site of all pipes and supports that make up the bottom heater coil.

Fire Suppression Systems for Tanks and Industrial Plants.

Tanks Fire Suppression Systems

For the storage tanks, we calculate the requirements of the firefighting foam and cooling water systems of the tanks, in accordance with NFPA 11 and NFPA 15 standards, which allows us to guarantee the correct implementation of these systems. In addition, we prepare detailed drawings, aimed at the prefabrication in the workshop and field assembly of these systems.

Industrial Plant Fire Suppression Systems

For the design of fire protection systems of industrial plants, we carry out the following activities:

• Identify risks and the requirements of water and foam concentrate .

• Determine the greatest risk.

• Calculate the storage capacity of water and foam concentrate for firefighting of the greatest risk.

• Layout of the fire-fighting water network.

• Specify flow and pressure requirements for fire water pumps and fire foam concentrate pumps.

• Hydraulic evaluation of the different fire risk scenarios.
